Welcome !
I'm Florian Allein, born in Le Mans (France). In 2017, I obtained a Ph.D. degree at the Acoustic Laboratory of Le Mans University (LAUM) for my work on Linear and Nonlinear Waves in Magneto-Granular Phononic Structures.
After a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (USA), I have now an associate professor position at the Junia-ISEN (Institut Supérieur de l'Électronique et du Numérique), one of the trustees of the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (IEMN-UMR CNRS 8520) in Lille (France).
My research focuses on:
- elastic wave propagation through periodic granular media,
- asymmetric wave propagation in systems with spatiotemporal
modulation of their elastic properties,
- wave propagation in designed and natural microstructures,
for frequencies ranging from kilohertz to near-gigahertz.
You can find here the description of my researches, my resume and my publications.
For any questions or suggestions, do not hesitate to send me an e-mail.
Have a nice visit !
